According to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), Quality education is the leading antidote to banish abject poverty and eradicate extreme hunger on the path to sustainable human and economic Development in Africa.

Of course, widespread basic education in developed countries has been proven to be central and key to national development which remains evident in the rate of tremendous economic growth witnessed by these regions or countries of the world with a high ratio of school attendance.

However, while the United Nations indicated a significant rise in the
rate of primary school enrolment in Africa between 2000 and 2015 as a result of the global push to achieve universal primary education by 2015 highlighted by the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), it is still a growing concern that the quality of this accessible education remains poor in several domains of the continent affecting majorly the remote rural settings that has been geographically marginalized and deprived of peculiar fundamentals of human sustainability.

It is of huge note that the promise and the yearning of A Quality
Education is an important civil and human right and therefore,
providing universal primary education for every child, regardless of
background, religion, race or language remains a topmost priority.

In this light, AREAi is committed to organizing and implementing bold approaches that transforms the state of education at the rural strata of the African Community. Our focus is centered on making quality education available to all and it must be equitable and inclusive and therefore, our efforts remain geared and committed towards addressing the urban bias that has resulted in the negligent state of rural Education in Africa which is  through low attendance of students, declining and unsafe learning environment, limited curricula, under motivated and malnourished out-of-school children, as well as outdated and aging facilities.

Our overriding goal remains that by providing an inclusive, equitable and quality education for these children in rural communities, we are growing a bright generation of future conscientious citizens who will be armed intellectually as problems solvers and reliable leaders that will facilitate economic development and national transformation as a result of skills acquisition, self realization and individual productivity.

Ultimately, the global aspiration of having a world where everyone
will be inclusively and equitably educated by 2030 will be marginally ACHIEVED paving way for sustainable development as a path, bolstering Africa’s global competitiveness and socio-economic growth and making the world a better place to live.

Our Mission is Crystal Clear.
Equitable, Inclusive and Quality Education for ALL by 2030.
It’s a Global Aspiration that we can, must and will achieve together.
